Product description

DEKAseal 8936 is a high-quality, permanently tacky, non-curing, plastic sealing compound based on polyisobutylene (PIB). Excess material can be easily removed by dabbing with the material itself. DEKAseal 8936 cannot be overpainted.

Application:

• Sealing of overlaps and joints in, for example, buses, caravans, motorhomes, trains and trucks

• Sealing of screw connections

• Sealing of sunroof systems

• Application under decorative trims when installing windows and roof hatches in caravans and motorhomes, trailers and containers

• Suitable for use between metal sheets, glass, GRP, wood and other materials

• Sealing of rubber-glass connections in buses, cars, trains and trucks

• Dabbing sealing compound for applications without visible joint edges (hatches, doors, side windows, etc.)

• Seals almost all screw connections, edges, decorative and piping strips, headlights, taillights and reversing cameras

• When installing windows in caravans and motorhomes, used under mounting frames

• Cannot be overpainted; if necessary, DEKAseal 1512 should be used
